Colonoscopy - my experience
Just finished my colonoscopy yesterday. Had a special diet 2 days before and had 2 pack of Fortrans mixed with 1 litre of water each the morning of the operation. The colonoscopy was in the afternoon and I approached the operation with some trepidations after reading the experience of some who complained of pain etc. Well, my went smoothly and by the time I am aware, the colonoscopy is finished. No pain, no bad experience and I went home with my son intact (the doctor specified that patient must be accompanied by someone, otherwise the operation will be aborted.

Exercise reduce colon cancer risk
Here is another study which reinforces the claim of exercise as the best medicine:
According to a review of 52 previous study and published in the British Journal of Cancer by US scientist, active people who exercise are 25% less likely to develop colon cancer. Lead researcher Dr Kathleen Wolin, from the Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis said: "These results give us a very reliable calculation of the positive effect that exercise can have on reducing colon cancer risk. It's very positive to see that exercise has such a clear benefit in reducing cancer risk and we hope it will encourage people to enjoy a healthy active lifestyle as well as treating it as a way to minimise their colon cancer risk."

Health tip Constipation Natural Remedy Frequent Regular Motion
Simple, effective and useful health tip: how to maintain regular and frequent passing motion (defaecate)
Title of this post have the words or phrases constipation, natural remedy, frequent regular motion because this is what this post is all about. It is a very simple tip or trick to maintain good health. Drink lots of water at regular intervals.Got this tip from my brother-in-law and sister, Gavin Han and Carmen Chen. According to Gavin Han, colon cleansing is only for those who are sick. What we need to do is to maintain a clean, healthy colon and the way to get it is to pass frequent and regular motion (defaecate). To Gavin Han, this mean defaecating (passing motion) 3 to 4 times a day. If we have this, we need not go through the messy and tedious colon cleansing.
Sound simple? Eat lots of fiber rich food? This alone cannot reach that level of regular frequent passing motion and I know it because that is exactly what I had been doing and definitely not going to the toilet 3 to 4 times a day (to defaecate). When I showed my skepticism, Carmen Chen chimed in. Drink lots of water. It worked for them so I don't see how it cannot work for you.
