English Tea is healthier drink than water?

Green tea and black Chinese tea have always been touted as a healthy drink, providing much anti-oxidants. Here is one article which describe what I assume as English tea as the article resides on bbcnews. Here is the link to the article: Tea healthier drink than water

It describe a study by Public health nutritionist Dr Carrie Ruxton and colleagues at Kings College London, and the study is another study on published studies on the health benefits of tea consumption. The study is funded by the Tea Council, but Dr. Ruxton stressed that the study is an independent study.

Here is what the article says. They found clear evidences that drinking 3 or 4 cups of tea a day helps cut the chances of having a heart attack. Some studies also suggested tea consumption provides protection against cancer. It also provide protection against tooth plaque production, and tooth decay, plus it strengthen the bones. (tea contains flouride).

Although there seem no evidence that tea drinking is harmful to health, tea can impair the ability of the body to absorb iron, meaning people prone to anemia should avoid drinking tea near mealtimes.

Public health nutritionist Dr Carrie Ruxton, and colleagues at Kings College London, looked at published studies on the health effects of tea consumption.

Check out this post: How to get indexed by Google and other search engines. I think it is already mentioned in the post, but I will repeat it here again, the fastest way is to get inbound links from sites that have already been indexed, especially sites that have high PageRank. If you want to know how to easily get the PageRank of your own and other sites, go to How to get the PageRank of your and other sites. It will be best for you to get links that have higher PageRank than your own site.

Hi Peter, thans for your comment and for calling my attention to the typo in the post title. I used to be a proofreader so it beats me how on Earth could I have not noticed it :) Thanks for the other suggestions, as well.
My post looks just OK in my Firefox browser, so I hope it was just a temporary problem for you in IE. I'm repeating my (corrected) link here in a clickable form:
Drink Water

Hi Eva,

Your comment on water being better than tea plus your offending link is still in the comments section as I am having some problem deleting it. You may want to repost your comment, but using a clickable link.

Checked your blog in IE. Sidebar is at the top of the page now. Looks like you solved your problem.

The sentence "You may want to repost your comment, but using a clickable link." should read

"You may want to repost your comment as I may be deleting it when I find out what is preventing me from deleting the comment, but this time using a clickable link."

I found that I could delete my own comment, so I just did that. I'm repeating it here now:

"The study is funded by the Tea Council, but Dr. Ruxton stressed that the study is an independent study."

This is a clear controversy. Maybe Dr. Ruxton is also funded by the Tea Council :) No, English Tea is NOT healthier than water by any means. Which does not mean that you can't drink a cup or two daily (just don't forget that tea has coffeine in it). Water (well, good quality water) is the healthiest drink on Earth. I've made a post on the subject here:
Drink Water

Hi Eva,

Thanks for your comment and for the additional information.
"Maybe Dr. Ruxton is also funded by the Tea Council"
Perhaps so, and he may be swayed by it, but Academician always try to be unbiased.

Well, if English tea is not good enough for you, you can try green tea. Lots of good independent eports for it.
